Obituary of David L. Templeton

David L. Templeton, age 80, of Wadsworth, died Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Willard and Gladys Templeton and his sisters, Lois Learn and Carol Dale.

He was survived by his wife, Lois Templeton, who passed away on January 12, 2022. He is survived by his son, Jason Templeton of Wadsworth, several in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

David was born November 29, 1941 in Dansville, NY the son of Willard and Gladys Truman Templeton. He was a Signal Supervisor on the Genesee & Wyoming Railroad, owned and operated Dave's Repair Shop from 1981-1994. Dave also served as the Highway Superintendent for the Town of York until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and working in his vegetable garden.

Graveside Services for both David and Lois will be held on Saturday May 14, 2022 at 11 AM in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
