Obituary of Paul W. Rainer

Paul W. Rainer, age 80, of Geneseo, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Anna Rainer, brother, Stephen Rainer and brother in law, Ralph Quick.

He is survived by his daughter, Lucinda (Christopher) Sequeira of Honeoye Falls and her mother, Julie Clough of Geneseo, sons, Ralph Farris of Cookeville, TN, Robert (Andrea) Rainer of Corrales, NM, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sisters, Charlene Quick of Geneseo, Thomasine (Alan) Wing of Piffard, sister in law, Linda Rainer of Piffard, many nieces and nephews.

Paul was born November 3, 1940 in Warsaw, NY the son of Robert Paul and Anna Fox Rainer. He served in the US Army National Guard. Paul retired as the President of the Lancaster Medical Bureau in Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Geneseo Kiwanis Club and a founding member of their Young Voyagers fishing and camping programs to Canada. Paul was a longtime member of the Geneseo United Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman and golfer.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be no prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
