Obituary of Ruth G. Percival

Ruth G. Percival, age 93, of Conesus Lake, died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the Rochester Presbyterian Home in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, William, son, Hugh (Shelley) Percival and brother, Arthur Pieringer.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn (Mark) Stefanik of Henrietta, granddaughters, Amy (Norman Mundt) Stefanik of Oneonta, Lisa (Matthew) Barbosa of Rush, brother, Richard (Elaine) Pieringer of PA, sister-in-law, Bettie Pieringer of FL, many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was born March 8, 1927 in Weehawken, NJ the daughter of Paul J. and Emma Sennhauser Pieringer. She graduated from Bergenfield High School in NJ. Ruth earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education from the University of Kentucky. She retired as a 1st grade teacher from the Livonia Central School.

Due to COVID-19 there will be no prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11 AM at the Geneseo United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Griswold officiating. Private Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneseo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Geneseo United Methodist Church, 4520 Genesee St. (Route 63), Geneseo, NY 14454 or the Rochester Presbyterian Home, 256 Thurston Rd., Rochester, NY 14619.
