Obituary of James Wiley
James Wiley, age 69, of Geneseo formerly of Copiague, NY, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Wiley, siblings, Charlie, Judy, Margaret, Helen and Jean.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Wiley, children, James C. (Vanessa) Wiley of Miami, FL, Kenneth Wiley of Geneseo, Dawn (Joshua) Ver Hague of Geneseo, Sandra (David) Bowker of Yardville, NJ, grandchildren, Kaitlin, James and Summer Wiley; Adelyn, Wiley and Callen Ver Hague, sisters, Patricia Sheehan of Hicksville, NY, Frances Kenah of Island Park, NY and Florence Astacaio of Bethpage, NY, many nieces and nephews.
Jim was born May 13, 1951 in Queens, NY the son of James and Dorothy Holmes Wiley. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. Jim was an Import Specialist for the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Boarder Division at JFK Airport in Jamaica, NY. He was a proud lifetime member and Past Captain of the Copiague Fire Department.
No prior calling hours. Private Memorial Services with Military Honors will be held at Bath National Cemetery.
