Obituary of Marjorie C. McMillan

Marjorie C. McMillan, age 99, of Geneseo, died Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. A longtime resident of Geneseo, NY she was born September 12, 1921 in Florida, MA to Louville and Winifred Corkum. She was brought up in Schenectady, NY and graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from Hartwick College.

Marjorie was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Raymond and her son, Richard.

She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy, son, Thomas (Laura Beth) and grandchildren Michael (Kat), Emma and Julia.

Mom was a dedicated and beloved volunteer over the years and delivered Meals on Wheels, visited folks in the Nursing homes and wrote weekly notes to the shut-ins from her church. She was a kind and generous person throughout her life of 99 years.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Geneseo at a time and date to be announced. Interment will be in the St. Michael's Memorial Garden.
