Obituary of Thomas W. Preston II

Thomas W. Preston, II, age 48, of Geneseo, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 24, 2025 at his residence in Geneseo. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas W. Preston.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Caffrey Preston, sister, Carrie (Eric) Falls, nephews, Zachary, Jacob and Lucas Falls all of Duxbury, MA, uncles, James (Eileen) Preston of Livonia, Pat (Kathy) Caffrey of Carthage, NY, and several cousins.

Tommy was born March 18, 1977 in Rochester, NY the son of Thomas and Donna Caffrey Preston. He was a graduate of Geneseo Central School class of 1995. Tommy played on the hockey and golf teams at Geneseo. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and playing in the Thursday night golf league at Livingston County Club.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 4 – 6 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo followed by a "Toast for Tommy" at 6:30 PM at Kelly's Saloon, 71 Main St. in Geneseo. Private interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
